A massive thank you to everyone who made our "Many Hearts, One Home" parade such a vibrant and joyful celebration today!

It was truly heart-warming to see our school community come together to celebrate both Seachtain na Gaeilge and the diverse cultures that make our school so special. The sea of jerseys, flags, and shamrocks from all over the world was a sight to behold!

🌟 Special Mentions

  • To our amazing Students: You marched with such pride and spirit! Your "home" outfits were incredibly creative and it was wonderful to see you representing your roots so brilliantly.

  • To Carmel Somers: A huge "go raibh maith agat" for hosting two fantastic CĂ©ilĂ­s on the school yard following the parade. Your energy was infectious, and seeing the whole school dancing together was the perfect finale to our celebrations!

  • To our Parents & Families: Thank you for joining us along the route! Your cheering and support at the GAA grounds and along the road created such a fantastic atmosphere for the children.

  • To our incredible Parents Association: We couldn't do this without you. Thank you for your tireless work behind the scenes to help organize and coordinate the morning.

  • To the local GardaĂ­: A sincere thank you to the members of our local Garda station. Your presence ensured our route from the school to the GAA was safe and smooth for every single child.

It was a proud day for our school, proving that no matter where we come from, we are all part of one big, brilliant community.

Senior G.A.A.  Both our girls and boys senior teams were competing in Cumann na mBunscoil gaelic football since Easter. Both teams played three tight matches which ended today. The girls were very unfortunate to lose by 2 points in their last match against Scoil Choca Naofa while the boys lost by 2 after extra time. This double header will surely be core memories for the 6th class pupils involved. It is so great to see them giving their all in the Straffan NS jersey and we strongly encourage them to continue representing their future schools as well. Such great talent amongst the group.

Well done to the boys and girls who competed in the Cumann na mBunscol Cross Country races today in Ráthcoffey GAA ​All involved showed great fitness and determination, navigating a long course against strong competition. Representing the school at this level requires significant effort, and every runner should be proud of finishing their race. ​ Thanks to all involved in organising an event of this size.  ​
