A huge thank you to everyone who took part in our Annual Spooky Walk , organised by our wonderful Parents Association ! Despite the gloomy weather, the clouds cleared just in time for us to enjoy a fun (and slightly spooky!) walk together. All the boys and girls looked absolutely incredible in their costumes — from witches and wizards to superheroes and skeletons, the creativity was amazing! The laughter, excitement, and community spirit made it a truly memorable day. Thank you to everyone who helped or ganise, participate, and support the event. Your enthusiasm and energy made it a fantastic success! 

As part of Maths Week , our students enjoyed an exciting visit to Celbridge Snooker Club , where they had the incredible opportunity to learn the game of snooker from professional player Fergal O’Brien ! Fergal shared his skills and passion for the sport, showing the children how maths plays a big part in snooker — from angles and geometry to scoring and strategy . The children loved discovering how numbers and shapes help players make the perfect shot. It was a fantastic hands-on learning experience that combined fun, sport, and maths in a memorable way. A big thank you to Fergal O’Brien and Celbridge Snooker Clu b  for inspiring our young mathematicians! The snooker club is open from 2pm every day. 

Our Junior Infants had a wonderful time on their Autumn Nature Walk with their 6th Class Buddies.  Together, they set off to explore the green opposite the church , looking out for all the beautiful signs of autumn along the way. The children collected colourful leaves, spotted conkers, and noticed how the trees are changing as the seasons turn. The 6th Class Buddies were fantastic helpers — chatting with their younger friends, pointing out interesting things in nature, and making sure everyone had fun and stayed safe. On returning to school, 6th Class helped Junior Infants find and list all signs of autumn they found.  It was a lovely morning filled with friendship, fresh air, and discovery . A big thank you to our 6th Class Buddies for helping make it such a special experience for our Junior Infants!
